Ingredients:
- 8 oz lo mein noodles
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 medium carrot, julienned
- 1 cup snap peas
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Procedure:
- Cook the Noodles: Boil the lo mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Stir-Fry the Veggies: Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds. Add bell pepper, carrot, and snap peas. Cook for 3-4 minutes, or until veggies are tender-crisp.
- Add Sauce: In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, oyster sauce (if using), rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Pour this sauce over the veggies and stir well.
