DIY Rice Milk Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup cooked white rice
- 4 cups water
- 1-2 tablespoons sweetener (such as honey, maple syrup, or sugar) (optional)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- A pinch of salt (optional)
- Place the cooked white rice and 4 cups of water in a blender.
- Blend on high until the mixture is smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
- If you prefer a sweeter rice milk, add your choice of sweetener, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt, then blend for another 30 seconds.
- Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve, cheesecloth, or nut milk bag into a large bowl or pitcher to remove any rice solids.
- Pour the strained rice milk into a clean bottle or jar and refrigerate. Shake well before each use.
- Enjoy your homemade rice milk chilled or use it in your favorite recipes!
