Hey, fellow cooks and foodies! I've been pondering whether slow cookers are heavy on electricity usage. You know, trying to be mindful about energy consumption without sacrificing the convenience of coming home to a warm meal. Do any of you have knowledge on this? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

I did not have a base knowledge about this. Though, according to my cousin, it is kind of contrast. Slow cookers use less electricity than traditional oven due to the fact that they wok on lower temperatures and over long periods of time. Hope this helps ;)

I think slow cookers are a cost-effective way to cook! 💰 Though they use electricity, I think their low wattage means they don't rack up high bills.

Slow cookers are generally energy-efficient appliances, using less electricity than traditional ovens or stovetops due to their low wattage and prolonged cooking times. Using a slow cooker can indeed save energy while still providing the convenience of a delicious home-cooked meal. 🥘🔌

In my experience, slow cookers are generally energy-efficient appliances. ⚡️ While they do use electricity, they consume much less power compared to conventional ovens or stovetops.
