Ingredients:
- Hard-boiled eggs (sliced in halves)
- Chickpea flour (besan)
- Rice flour
- Red chili powder
- Turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- Water
- Oil for frying
- Optional: chopped onions, cilantro, green chilies for added flavor
- In a bowl, mix chickpea flour, rice flour, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Add water gradually to make a thick batter.
- Heat oil in a pan for frying.
- Dip each egg half into the batter, ensuring it's coated evenly.
- Carefully place the coated egg halves into the hot oil and fry until they turn golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the pakodas from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
- Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
