Ingredients:

  • Hard-boiled eggs (sliced in halves)
  • Chickpea flour (besan)
  • Rice flour
  • Red chili powder
  • Turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Water
  • Oil for frying
  • Optional: chopped onions, cilantro, green chilies for added flavor
Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix chickpea flour, rice flour, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Add water gradually to make a thick batter.
  2. Heat oil in a pan for frying.
  3. Dip each egg half into the batter, ensuring it's coated evenly.
  4. Carefully place the coated egg halves into the hot oil and fry until they turn golden brown and crispy.
  5. Remove the pakodas from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  6. Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
