Ingredients:
  • 2 large tomatoes, diced
  • 1 cucumber, diced
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 cup chopped mint leaves
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce, torn into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup radishes, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup pita bread, toasted and broken into pieces
  • 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon sumac
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
  1. In a large bowl, combine the tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, bell pepper, parsley, mint, lettuce, and radishes.
  2. Add the toasted pita bread pieces to the bowl.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, sumac, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss until well combined.
  5. Let the salad sit for about 10 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.
  6. Serve and enjoy your delicious Fattoush Salad!
