I just traveled to Korea and fell head over heels in love with Gochujang's strong, spicy tastes. I've been experimenting with incorporating it into numerous foods, and my Gochujang Pasta recipe is one that really sticks out. Creamy, spicy, and really wonderful! 🍝 I'm eager to provide you everyone the recipe!

Ingredients:
  • 8 ounces fusili or any pasta of your choice​
  • 1 tablespoon chilli oil​
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter​
  • 1 small onion diced small​
  • 2 - 3 garlic cloves minced​
  • 3 tablespoons gochujang​
  • 1 Tomato diced small​
  • A few Mushrooms sliced​
  • A few handfuls baby spinach​
  • 1 cup heavy cream​
  • 1/2 cup reserved pasta water​
  • 1/4 cup Feta​
Optional Ingredients:
  • Greated Parmesan, Parsley or chives for garnish​
Instructions:
  1. Cook the pasta in salted water​
  2. In a pan, add chilli oil and melt some butter​
  3. Toss in the onions and fry till translucent​
  4. Add garlic and saute for a few minutes​
  5. Mix in some gochujang and cook briefly until fragrant and combined with the garlic and onions.​
  6. Add tomatoes and cook till soft​
  7. Toss in mushrooms and cook till they release water​
  8. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Mix the sauce until well combined​
  9. Add spinach and cook till wilted​
  10. Add the cooked pasta and feta to the sauce in the pan and toss until coated.​
  11. Add the pasta water a little at a time to loosen the sauce until it's at the right consistency​
  12. Optionally garnish with parmesan, chives or parsley​
