- 4 cups fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup French-fried onions
- Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C).
- Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the green beans and cook for about 5 minutes, until they are tender-crisp. Drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, and black pepper. Stir until well mixed.
- Add the cooked green beans to the soup mixture and stir until the beans are evenly coated.
- Pour the green bean mixture into a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
- Remove the casserole from the oven and sprinkle the French-fried onions evenly over the top.
- Return the casserole to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the onions are golden brown and crispy.
