  2. Prepare the Mochi Dough:
    • In a microwave-safe bowl, thoroughly mix the glutinous rice flour and green tea powder.
    • Stir in water and sugar until the mixture is smooth.
    • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and microwave for 3 minutes and 30 seconds.
    • Remove from microwave, stir, and heat again, covered, for an additional 15 to 30 seconds if needed.
  3. Assemble the Mochi:
    • Dust a work surface with cornstarch.
    • Take about 2 tablespoons of the hot rice flour mixture and roll it into a ball.
    • Flatten the ball and place one frozen red bean paste ball in the center.
    • Pinch and press the dough around the bean paste until it's completely covered.
    • Sprinkle with additional cornstarch to prevent sticking.
  4. Finish and Serve:
    • Place the mochi, seam-side down, in a paper muffin liner to prevent sticking.
    • Repeat the process to make the remaining mochi.
