Hey foodies! If you're a fan of tiramisu and also love matcha, you're in for a treat. This Matcha Tiramisu is a delightful twist on the classic Italian dessert. It's rich, creamy, and has that perfect balance of sweetness and bitterness. Let’s dive in!

Ingredients:

  • 200g ladyfinger biscuits
  • 250g mascarpone cheese
  • 300ml heavy cream
  • 100g sugar
  • 3 tbsp matcha powder
  • 200ml hot water
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Cocoa powder for dusting
Procedure:

  1. Dissolve 2 tablespoons of matcha powder in 200ml hot water. Let it cool.
  2. In a bowl, beat the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  3. In another bowl, mix the mascarpone cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and the remaining 1 tablespoon of matcha powder until smooth.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
  5. Dip each ladyfinger biscuit in the cooled matcha tea and arrange them in a single layer at the bottom of your serving dish.
  6. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the biscuits.
  7. Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone mixture.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  9. Dust with cocoa powder before serving.
