Ingredients:
Ingredients:
- Assorted vegetables (such as carrots, broccoli, bell peppers, snap peas, mushrooms, zucchini, etc.)
- Olive oil or vegetable oil
- Garlic (minced)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: soy sauce, sesame oil, or any other seasoning of your choice
- Wash and prepare the vegetables by chopping them into bite-sized pieces.
- Heat a tablespoon of olive oil or vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add minced garlic to the hot oil and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the harder vegetables like carrots and broccoli to the skillet first, stirring occasionally, and cook for a few minutes until they begin to soften.
- Gradually add the remaining vegetables, starting with the ones that take longer to cook and finishing with the quickest-cooking ones like bell peppers and snap peas.
- Season the vegetables with salt and pepper to taste, and any other desired seasonings or sauces.
- Continue to cook, stirring frequently, until all the vegetables are cooked to your desired level of doneness. They should be tender but still slightly crisp.
- Once the vegetables are cooked, remove from heat and serve hot as a side dish or as a main course over rice or noodles.
