For the Donuts:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
For the Glaze:
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon orange zest
Instructions:
  1. Preheat Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a donut pan or spray with non-stick spray.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients:
    • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Combine Wet Ingredients:
    • In another bowl, mix the milk, orange juice, vegetable oil, eggs, and orange zest.
  4. Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients:
    • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  5. Fill the Pan:
    • Spoon the batter into the donut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake:
    • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a donut comes out clean.

    • While the donuts are cooling, mix the powdered sugar, orange juice, and orange zest until smooth.
