For the Donuts:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons orange juice
- 1/2 teaspoon orange zest
- Preheat Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a donut pan or spray with non-stick spray.
- Mix Dry Ingredients:
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Combine Wet Ingredients:
- In another bowl, mix the milk, orange juice, vegetable oil, eggs, and orange zest.
- Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients:
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- Fill the Pan:
- Spoon the batter into the donut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.
- Bake:
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a donut comes out clean.
