Ingredients
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 1/2-2 cup pecans , corsely chopped
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
Procedures
- Begin by creaming together butter and sugar until smooth and fluffy.
- Incorporate vanilla into the mixture, ensuring it is well combined. Gradually add flour, salt, and pecans, stirring until all ingredients are thoroughly integrated.
- Cover the dough and refrigerate for 20 minutes to allow it to firm up.
- Once chilled, shape the dough into balls approximately 1 ½ inches in diameter.
- Dampen the bottom of a glass cup slightly and gently press down on each ball of dough to flatten it into a cookie shape.
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and bake the cookies for 15-17 minutes, or until they are lightly golden brown.
