Waffles arenโ€™t just for syrup anymore! These savory pumpkin waffles are spiced with sage and paired with a dollop of herbed sour cream. Perfect as a side dish or a cozy brunch. ๐Ÿ

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh sage
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup milk
Topping
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon chopped chives
Directions
  1. Mix dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, nutmeg, and sage. Whisk in egg, pumpkin, and milk until smooth.
  2. Cook in a waffle iron until golden.
  3. Serve warm with a dollop of sour cream and a sprinkle of chives.
