Hey everyone, I want to introduce you to a delicious Slow-Cooked Beef Brisket recipe!
This tender, juicy brisket is perfect for family dinners or special occasions. Let’s get cooking!

Ingredients:

Ingredients:
122×187
- 1 (4-5 pound) beef brisket
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 large onions, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Season Brisket: Season the brisket generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Sear Brisket: In a large, oven-safe pot or Dutch oven, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the brisket on both sides until browned, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove the brisket and set it aside.
- Cook Onions and Garlic: In the same pot, add the sliced onions and cook until they are soft and caramelized, about 10 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
- Add Liquids: Pour in the beef broth, barbecue sauce, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, and Dijon mustard. Stir well to combine.
- Return Brisket to Pot: Place the brisket back into the pot, fat side up, and spoon some of the sauce over the top.
- Slow Cook in Oven: Cover the pot with a lid and place it in the preheated oven. Cook for 3-4 hours, or until the brisket is very tender and easily shredded with a fork.
- Rest and Slice: Remove the brisket from the oven and let it rest for about 15 minutes before slicing. Slice against the grain for the most tender pieces.
- Serve: Serve the sliced brisket with the onions and sauce from the pot. It’s great with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a simple salad.
