  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lemon, sliced

Instructions:​

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 425Β°F (220Β°C).
  2. Prepare Chicken: Place the chicken breast-side down on a cutting board. Using kitchen shears, cut along both sides of the backbone to remove it. Flip the chicken over and press down firmly on the breastbone to flatten it.
  3. Season Chicken: In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, rosemary, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper. Rub this mixture all over the chicken, making sure to get under the skin.
  4. Arrange Chicken: Place the chicken on a baking sheet, skin-side up. Arrange lemon slices around it.
