- 1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon chili garlic sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- Cooked rice or noodles for serving
- Chopped green onions and cilantro for garnish
- In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, fish sauce, oyster sauce, chili garlic sauce, and brown sugar. Set aside.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced chicken to the skillet and stir-fry until cooked through, about 5-6 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the minced garlic and stir-fry for about 30 seconds, until fragrant.
- Add the sliced bell peppers, onion, mushrooms, and broccoli to the skillet. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, along with the sauce mixture. Stir well to coat everything evenly and heat through.
- Serve the spicy Thai chicken stir fry over cooked rice or noodles.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and cilantro before serving.
