Hey everyone! Iāve been experimenting with tofu lately, and I wanted to share this super easy and delicious recipe for Spicy Tofu Crumbles. They make a great topping for salads, tacos, or even just as a snack!

- 1 block of firm tofu (14 oz), drained and pressed
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (or sesame oil for extra flavor)
- 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (or regular paprika)
- Ā½ teaspoon ground cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions or cilantro for garnish (optional)
- Crumble the Tofu: After pressing the tofu to remove excess moisture, crumble it into bite-sized pieces using your hands or a fork.
- SautƩ the Tofu: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the crumbled tofu and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it starts to turn golden and slightly crispy.
- Season It Up: In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, sriracha, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Pour this mixture over the tofu crumbles, and stir to combine.
- Cook Further: Continue cooking for another 3-5 minutes, allowing the tofu to absorb the flavors and get even crispier.
- Garnish & Serve: Once done, remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions or cilantro if you like. Enjoy it in your favorite dishes or as a protein-packed snack!
