Hey everyone! I'm excited to share with you one of my all-time favorite recipes: Sticky Chinese Pork Stir-Fry.
Ingredients:
Ingredients:
- 1 lb pork tenderloin, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (such as bell peppers, snap peas, and carrots)
- Cooked rice, for serving
- Optional garnish: sliced green onions, sesame seeds
- In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and cornstarch. Stir until the cornstarch is dissolved.
- Add the sliced pork to the marinade and toss to coat. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes, or up to overnight in the refrigerator.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated pork and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes.
- Remove the pork from the skillet and set it aside. In the same skillet, add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry until crisp-tender, about 3-4 minutes.
- Return the cooked pork to the skillet and pour the remaining marinade over the pork and vegetables. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until the sauce thickens and coats the pork and vegetables.
- Serve the sticky Chinese pork stir-fry hot over cooked rice, and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
