Ingredients

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cups powdered sugar, sifted
- 1/4 cup fresh strawberries, pureed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
For the Cupcakes
- Preparation:
- Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- Mix Dry Ingredients:
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- Cream Butter and Sugar:
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add Eggs and Vanilla:
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Combine Ingredients:
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
- Add Strawberry Puree:
- Gently fold in the strawberry puree until well incorporated.
- Bake the Cupcakes:
- Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners, filling each about two-thirds full. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cupcakes to cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
For the Strawberry Frosting
- Cream Butter:
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter until smooth and creamy.
- Add Powdered Sugar:

- Beat in the strawberry puree, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Continue beating until the frosting is smooth and fluffy.
