Tri Tip Roast Recipe

I recently made some honey cornbread, and it was so delicious! The combination of sweet honey and the buttery cornbread was a hit with everyone. If you're looking for a comforting side dish, give this recipe a try.

Ingredients:​

  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup honey

Instructions:​

  1. Preheat your oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC) and grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, melted butter, and honey until well combined.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Let it cool slightly before serving.
