Vegetarian Club Sandwich Recipe
Ingredients:
- 6 slices of whole grain bread, toasted
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1 cup of mixed greens (lettuce, spinach, arugula)
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1 cucumber, sliced
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup hummus
- 1/2 cup alfalfa sprouts
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: Pickles or jalapeños for an extra kick!
Instructions:
- Prep the Bread: Toast your whole grain bread until it’s golden brown and crispy. Set aside to cool slightly.
- Spread the Love: Take 4 slices of the toasted bread and spread a generous amount of hummus on each.
