Watermelon Basil Lemonade

Hi guys, Let's indulge in a thirst-quenching Watermelon Basil Lemonade. Let me share this recipe with you, this is one of my favorite refreshments to keep me cool this summer.

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups diced seedless watermelon
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • Juice of 2-3 lemons (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar or honey (adjust to taste)
  • 4 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices and basil sprigs for garnish
Instructions:

  1. In a blender, combine the diced watermelon, fresh basil leaves, lemon juice, and granulated sugar or honey.
  2. Blend the mixture until smooth and well combined.
  3. Strain the watermelon basil mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher, pressing down on the solids to extract all the liquid.
  4. Discard any solids remaining in the sieve.
  5. Add cold water to the pitcher and stir to combine.
  6. Taste the Watermelon Basil Lemonade and adjust sweetness or tartness by adding more sugar or lemon juice if needed.
  7. Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the lemonade over the ice.
  8. Garnish each glass with a slice of lemon and a sprig of basil.
  9. Serve immediately and enjoy the fruity freshness of this delightful Watermelon Basil Lemonade!
