Why does my tortilla soup taste sour?

So, whipped up tortilla soup last night, and, ugh, it tasted sour. Not sure why; used fresh ingredients, even squeezed lime right at the end. Maybe too much tomato? Or could lime have been too overpowering? Would appreciate any tips to avoid this next time. Totally bummed out here. Thanks!
 
Try adding a touch of cream or avocado to balance out the sourness. Sometimes a bit of fat can help smooth out the flavors. 🥑🥄
