Baked Stuffed Shells with Three-Cheese Sauce

You guys gotta try this Baked Stuffed Shells with Three-Cheese Sauce recipe I found :love: It's basically a hug in a bowl consisting of giant pasta shells stuffed with creamy, cheesy goodness, then drenched in a dreamy sauce and baked until golden brown 🤤 Seriously, pure comfort food heaven!

Ingredients:
  • 12 oz jumbo pasta shells
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Gruyère cheese
Instructions:
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, 1/2 cup of the mozzarella, 1/4 cup of the Parmesan, the egg, minced garlic, chopped basil, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Stuff each cooked pasta shell with a generous amount of the cheese mixture, placing them in the prepared baking dish as you go.
  5. In a medium saucepan, whisk together the marinara sauce and heavy cream. Bring the mixture to a simmer, then remove from heat.
  6. Pour the three-cheese sauce over the stuffed shells, making sure they're all evenly coated.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of mozzarella and 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese over the top.
  8. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and sprinkle the Gruyère cheese over the top. Bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Let the Baked Stuffed Shells with Three-Cheese Sauce cool for 5 minutes, then serve hot and enjoy!
