- 8 ounces pasta macaroni
- 6 slices bacon, diced
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
- Cook the pasta macaroni according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, cook the diced bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon from the skillet and set aside, leaving the bacon fat in the skillet.
- Add the butter to the skillet with the bacon fat and melt over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Reduce heat to low and add the cooked pasta macaroni to the skillet. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and milk, stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir in the cooked bacon.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
