Ingredients:

  • 4 soft flour tortillas
  • 4 crunchy taco shells
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing (or spicy ranch)
Instructions:

  1. Cook the Beef: In a skillet, brown the ground beef. Drain the fat, then add taco seasoning and water. Simmer for a few minutes until the beef is well-coated.
  2. Assemble the Gordita: Place a soft flour tortilla on a flat surface, sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese, and melt in a skillet or microwave. Wrap it around a crunchy taco shell.
  3. Fill the Taco: Fill the crunchy shell with the seasoned beef, shredded lettuce, Mexican cheese blend, and a drizzle of ranch or spicy ranch.
  4. Serve: Add a dollop of sour cream on top and enjoy!
