Cheesy Grits
Ingredients:
- 4 cups water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup quick-cooking grits
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Ground black pepper to taste
- In a saucepan, bring water and salt to a boil.
- Whisk in grits and reduce heat to medium-low. Cook until thickened, about 5 to 6 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Stir in Cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, and butter until fully combined and cheeses have melted.
- Season with pepper and serve immediately.
