Chocolate Avocado Mousse

I just had to share these two unique recipes that I recently tried making. They turned out so delicious, I couldn't keep them to myself!

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional toppings: whipped cream, berries, chopped nuts
Instructions:

  1. Scoop the flesh out of the avocados and add it to a blender or food processor.
  2. Add the cocoa powder, maple syrup or honey, vanilla extract, and salt.
  3. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
  4. Divide the mousse into serving dishes and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Serve topped with whipped cream, berries, or chopped nuts if desired.
Trust me, you won't even taste the avocado! It's a great way to sneak in some extra nutrients while enjoying a decadent dessert.
