Ingredients:
  • 2 racks of baby back ribs
  • 1 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce
    278×380
    205.4 kB
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon of onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
  1. Start by removing the membrane from the back of the ribs if it's still attached. This will help the flavors penetrate better.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to create a dry rub.
  3. Rub the dry rub all over the ribs, covering them evenly.
  4. Pour half of the BBQ sauce into the bottom of your crockpot.
  5. Place the ribs in the crockpot, standing them up on their sides with the meatier side facing the walls of the crockpot.
  6. Pour the remaining BBQ sauce over the top of the ribs.
  7. Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, or until the ribs are tender and cooked through.
  8. Once the ribs are done, carefully remove them from the crockpot and place them on a serving platter.
  9. Optionally, you can brush the ribs with more BBQ sauce and broil them in the oven for a few minutes to caramelize the sauce.
  10. Serve the ribs hot and enjoy their fall-off-the-bone goodness!
Enjoy your delicious crockpot ribs!
