Ingredients:
Ingredients:
- 2 racks of baby back ribs
- 1 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce
278×380
205.4 kB - 1/4 cup of brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon of smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon of onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Start by removing the membrane from the back of the ribs if it's still attached. This will help the flavors penetrate better.
- In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to create a dry rub.
- Rub the dry rub all over the ribs, covering them evenly.
- Pour half of the BBQ sauce into the bottom of your crockpot.
- Place the ribs in the crockpot, standing them up on their sides with the meatier side facing the walls of the crockpot.
- Pour the remaining BBQ sauce over the top of the ribs.
- Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, or until the ribs are tender and cooked through.
- Once the ribs are done, carefully remove them from the crockpot and place them on a serving platter.
- Optionally, you can brush the ribs with more BBQ sauce and broil them in the oven for a few minutes to caramelize the sauce.
- Serve the ribs hot and enjoy their fall-off-the-bone goodness!
