Ingredients:​

  • 4-6 crayfish (cleaned and deveined)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil (chopped)
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions:​

  1. Prepare Crayfish: Clean and devein the crayfish if not already done.
  2. Make Garlic Herb Butter: In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. Stir in parsley, thyme, basil, lemon zest, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Poach Crayfish: Place the crayfish in the saucepan and gently poach them in the garlic herb butter. Cook for about 4-6 minutes, turning occasionally, until the crayfish are opaque and cooked through.
  4. Serve: Remove crayfish from the butter and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
