Instructions:
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a donut pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the whole wheat flour, coconut sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the applesauce, almond milk, egg, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
