Ingredients:​

  • 1 cup heavy cream (chilled)
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar (or powdered sugar for a smoother texture)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions:​

  1. Chill the Tools:
    • For best results, chill your mixing bowl and beaters or whisk in the freezer for about 15 minutes before whipping.
  2. Whip the Cream:
    • Pour the heavy cream into the chilled bowl.
    • Using an electric mixer or stand mixer with a whisk attachment, start whipping the cream on medium speed.
    • As the cream begins to thicken, add the sugar and vanilla extract (if using).
    • Continue to whip on high speed until stiff peaks form. Be careful not to overwhip, as it can turn into butter.
  3. Serve:
    • Use immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Gently re-whip if needed before serving.
