  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 oz mascarpone cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon matcha green tea powder
  • 1/2 cup brewed and cooled green tea
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Ladyfingers or sponge cake slices
  • Cocoa powder or matcha powder for dusting

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the softened mascarpone cheese, matcha powder, brewed green tea, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the matcha mixture until well combined.
  4. Dip each ladyfinger or sponge cake slice into some brewed green tea and layer them at the bottom of serving cups or glasses.
  5. Spoon a layer of the matcha mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  6. Repeat the layers until you reach the top of the cups, ending with a layer of the matcha mascarpone mixture.
  7. Cover and refrigerate the tiramisu cups for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to meld together.
  8. Just before serving, dust the tops with cocoa powder or matcha powder for a finishing touch.
