Pepperoni Pizza Rolls
Ingredients:
- 1 can (13.8 oz) refrigerated pizza dough
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Olive oil (for brushing)
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- Prepare the Dough: Unroll the pizza dough onto a floured surface. Use a rolling pin to spread it out into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
- Add Sauce and Toppings: Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, then layer the sliced pepperoni on top.
- Roll It Up: Carefully roll the dough up from one long side to the other, forming a log shape. Pinch the edges to seal them.
- Slice and Arrange: Slice the roll into 1-inch thick pieces and place them cut side up on the prepared baking sheet.
- Add Seasoning: Brush the tops of the rolls lightly with olive oil, then sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, dried oregano, and garlic powder.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Cool and Serve: Let the pizza rolls cool for a few minutes before serving. Dip them in extra pizza sauce if you like!
