  • 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean red chili paste)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions:
  1. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, gochujang, honey, rice vinegar, minced garlic, minced ginger, and sesame oil to create the sauce.
  2. Place the thinly sliced pork belly in a large resealable plastic bag or shallow dish.
  3. Pour the sauce over the pork belly, making sure each slice is evenly coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or preferably overnight for maximum flavor.
  4. Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Once hot, add the marinated pork belly slices to the pan in a single layer, working in batches if necessary.
  6. Cook the pork belly for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until caramelized and cooked through.
  7. Remove the cooked pork belly from the pan and place it on a serving platter.
  8. Garnish with thinly sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
  9. Serve hot with steamed rice and your favorite Korean side dishes.
