Ingredients:

  • 4 chicken thighs, bone-in and skin-on
  • Juice and zest of 2 oranges
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha (adjust to your heat preference)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro and orange slices for garnish
Instructions:

  1. Season the chicken: Pat the chicken thighs dry and season with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sear the chicken thighs, skin side down, until golden and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Flip and cook for another 5 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  2. Make the glaze: In the same skillet, reduce the heat and add the garlic and ginger. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in the orange juice, orange zest, honey, soy sauce, and sriracha. Bring to a simmer and let it reduce slightly, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Glaze the chicken: Return the chicken thighs to the skillet, spooning the glaze over them. Cover and cook for an additional 10-12 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the glaze is thick and sticky.
  4. Serve with flair: Plate the chicken with a generous drizzle of the orange glaze. Garnish with fresh cilantro and orange slices for a burst of color and flavor! 🍊🌿
