Ingredients:
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cups fresh blackberries (or frozen if not in season!)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup white sugar (for sprinkling)

Instructions:
  1. Preheat that oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9x9 inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder and salt. Slowly stir in the milk and melted butter until just combined - no overmixing!
  3. Gently fold in the blackberries and lemon juice. Pour the berry mixture into your prepared baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle the 1/4 cup of white sugar evenly over the top. This creates that crispy, sugary crust!
  5. Bake for 50-60 minutes until golden brown and bubbly around the edges.
  6. Let it cool for at least 15 minutes so you don't burn your mouth. Serve it up warm with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream!
You guys, this cobbler is crazy good 😋💯 The blackberries get all warm and jammy while the inside stays light and cakey. Simple but so satisfying! 🥰
