Ingredients​

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup crushed nuts (pecans, walnuts, or almonds) or breadcrumbs for coating
  • Optional: 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper for a spicy kick

Instructions​

  1. Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheese, Parmesan, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper (if using). Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix until well combined.
  2. Chill the Mixture: Cover the bowl and refrigerate the mixture for about 30 minutes to make it easier to handle.
  3. Form Balls: Once chilled, use your hands to scoop out small portions of the mixture (about 1 inch in diameter) and roll them into balls.
  4. Coat the Cheese Balls: Place the crushed nuts or breadcrumbs on a plate. Roll each cheese ball in the coating until fully covered.
  5. Chill Again: Return the coated cheese balls to the fridge for another 30 minutes to firm up.
  6. Serve: Arrange the cheese balls on a platter and serve with crackers, veggies, or your favorite dipping sauce.
