  • 2 shallots, finely chopped
  • 1 head of garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Optional: 1-2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds, 1-2 tbsp finely chopped peanuts

Instructions:​

  1. Heat Oil: In a small pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
  2. Add Shallots and Garlic: Once the oil is hot, add the chopped shallots and garlic. Cook until they turn golden brown, stirring occasionally to avoid burning.
