Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs pork shoulder or pork butt, cut into chunks
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix together barbecue sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. This is your barbecue sauce.
  2. Place the pork chunks in the slow cooker and pour the barbecue sauce mixture over them, making sure the pork is well coated.
  3. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat for 6-8 hours, or until the pork is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
  4. Once the pork is cooked, shred it using two forks right in the slow cooker, mixing it with the sauce.
  5. Serve the shredded pork barbecue on buns or rolls, or alongside your favorite sides like coleslaw or cornbread.
  6. Enjoy your delicious homemade pork barbecue!
Feel free to adjust the seasoning and sauce according to your taste preferences. Enjoy your meal!
